Wrath, vengeance or punishment as a result of anger. There is a fine line between justice and wrath. Wrath is uncalled for. Racists show wrath, politicians show wrath, the common man in modern times and times past is wrathful. If one is wronged, they feel as if they are the center of the universe, as if since they were slighted, the world should feel slighted. The anger is directed back, often mistaken for justice, when many a time the cause of the frustration was in fact a lesson to be learned. Countless numbers of people are injured or killed each day for no apparent reason. But there is a reason. The attacker felt as if the victim was in some way deserving of their anger, and in more severe cases, hate. And war, the harbinger of death for legions of man, fought many times over one's beliefs. Man is too far gone when they begin to believe that one is deserving of pain for their thoughts.
