Maria is the daughter of Nikolai Balthasar, a famous developer of gears who was the first to combine the body of a gear with the brain of a human. Maria lives in the floating country of Shevat.
Maria does not use a weapon.
Maria Balthasar cleary lacks any physical strength, but she makes up for it and then some with her gear, Seibzehn. Seibzehn, which means "seventeen" in german, is the 17th gear in Nikloai's develepment program, and has the brain of a human.
