Touma says: "Jirougrou Kuroda is a walking enigma. Despite the fact that he's physically only twenty-one years old, his hair is pure silver. Nobody, not even his fellow Masho, knows why or how this happened, or how he wound up with the eyepatch he wears, either. He isn't the most talkative of people, usually, unless and until he wants something. As soon as it might benefit him, he can become the most charming, gregarious man you've ever met, but it's all just an act to make people drop their guard. In truth, Jirougorou Kuroda is one of the most cold-blooded, ruthless con men ever, and probably a compulsive liar to boot. Although he's a fast, nimble, and well-trained warrior, Jirougorou almost never engages in any kind of physical combat, preferring to pick away at his enemies' psyches from the shadows, where he always lurks in search of information he can use against people. When it comes to any kind of personal information, he's a closed book. Easily one of the smartest of the Masho, Rajura was also one of the first to turn against their master Arago, when he realised that -for once- he had become the puppet... Even now, he's as enigmatic and mysterious as ever."

It isn't known for sure what creature had its spirit bonded to the armour of Rajura, but a good suspect would be Anansi, the African/Jamaican spider-god who, much like Rajura, delighted in playing tricks on friends and enemies alike. In addition to the power to shapeshift into other people, and decieve his foes into seeing things that aren't there, Rajura also seems able to cling to walls and ceilings, just like a spider. His main weapon consists of six interconnected scythes that can extend to various lengths, as well as spin like a giant buzzsaw. In addition, the Spider Masho of Gen carries a mace and a pair of nunchaku on his gauntlets, although he rarely uses them.

In addition to illusions and spiders, Rajura represents the season of summer. He has demonstrated a high tolerance for heat while wearing his armour, battling in the middle of a desert without any apparent discomfort.

Rajura's japanese voice actor, or seiyuu, was Juurota Kosugi.
