By her own admission, Crystal Chappell (Carly) is not a "morning person." So, to get the juices flowing, she runs three miles every day -- usually at 7:30 a.m.

On her working days, Chappell has a regular companion on her runs -- co-star and good pal Michael Sabatino (Lawrence). "He basically does the same kind of workout I do," she reveals. "We run for thirty minutes at a good, strong pace every day. It's a great way to wake up, get your energy going."

Aside from running, are the two making any other kind of tracks these days? "Well, I like him, and I think he's a great guy," Chappell says shyly. How would she describe their offscreen relationship? "Progressing," is how she phrases it, then adds, "Michael is a nice part of my life. I enjoy being friends with him. We have a lot of common interests. It's fun." (For the record, Sabatino, like Chappell, recently went through a marital breakup. But he and Chappell didn't become close until several months after their respective marriages broke up.)

Since they've never shared a storyline, they didn't really connect on the DAYS set. "We really didn't talk that much," the actress explains. "Sometimes, we don't even work on the same days." So how did they hook up? "In the same way, you get to know anybody," she says. "It just kind of happens. You hang out in the makeup room and exchange life stories."
