The outline of the thesis is as follows :
Chapter 2 explains Knowledge Discovery Schema Language(KDSL), various design considerations which served as guidelines in our design, its syntax and then how to specify a Knowledge Discovery Schema using KDSL for mining different kinds of knowledge.
Chapter 3 gives the details of Knowledge Discovery Schema Editor(KDSE), its salient features and the basic functionality of KDSE.
Chapter 4 gives the details of Knowledge Discovery Schema Compiler(KDSC), the details of the compilation process and creation of metadata.
Chapter 5 explains more on the idea of an intension mining system, pre-requisites of an intensional algorithm, various integration issues and a case study which finds association rules using our intension mining system.
Finally, we close with a discussion on future work.
