The goal of designing the KDSL was to provide necessary primitives for the front-end engine to work on. However, the user who is not very conversant with KDSL will prefer to use some flexible GUI to specify his mining requirements.
In current relational technology, SQL provides the "core" language of relational systems on top of which various GUIs have been constructed[19]. Similarly, the knowledge discovery schema language will serve as the "core language" for our intension mining system implementation, on top of which we have developed knowledge discovery schema editor which is a GUI for effectively specifying knowledge discovery schema.
