Mining is the final objective of the system. This phase is entered when the user invokes a mining query . The user specifies the mining parameters at this stage. This makes the system more flexible. The mining process consults the knowledge discovery schema and performs mining running specified mining algorithm on the Knowledge Concentrates accumulated during the accumulation phase & presents the results in a pre-desired format using presentation tools. Crucial issues at this level are the Knowledge Discovery Query Language and the usage of appropriate presentation tools to communicate the discovered knowledge.
