Appalachian grassroots media and cultural center with a national impact seeks a fundraiser to work closely with artists and program staff on fundraising for Appalshop film, radio, theater, community arts, education and social change programs.

Working as part of a collaborative team, the Development Associate will provide technical support for development of proposals, coordinate and track project proposals from conception to submission, and produce reports and promotional materials. Desired qualifications include excellent writing and oral communication skills; proposal preparation and fundraising experience; ability to work within a team; to work some weekends and evenings; to travel and represent the organization with a variety of constituents; and to organize fundraising and reporting systems.

Salary is in the range of $30,800 -- $36,300, with excellent benefits.
