Research Associate 

ARTH

Organization Action Research and Training for Health (ARTH), Udaipur, a not-for-profit organization that carries out operations research in health service delivery issues.

 Place of Posting Udaipur

 Responsibilities

·              Supervision of field work of a large field based child health project in rural Udaipur

·              Management of field- staff

·              Liaison with government health officials, including medical officers

·              Trouble shooting on the field

·              Development of research instruments

·              Supervision of data entry

·              Developing plan of analysis

Skills required

·              Computer skills: Proficiency in use of computers for word processing and spreadsheet.

·              Languages: comfortable communicating in Hindi and English.

·              Personnel management: Ability to supervise and lead a team of field workers.

·              Research skills: Understanding of research methodology of field based studies.

Qualifications

Postgraduate in Social Work/  Social Anthropology / Rural Management from a reputed institute with three years experience of involvement in field studies; at least one year of which should be in supervisory capacity

Duration of Assignment : 18 months

Emoluments:  Emoluments will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
