BAIF Development Research Foundation
BAIF Development Research Foundation, Pune, a development organization working in seven states of India, invites applications for the following Senior – and Middle – level positions. The positions offer challenging opportunities to professionals in key lead areas of development.
Programme Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation) :
Post-graduate qualifications in the social sciences or in multi-disciplinary fields related to gender-based community development in rural India. Five years of professional field experience with progressive responsibilities in evaluation of community development programs.
Competence in program monitoring and evaluation (M&E) or in participatory research design and implementation with evidence of skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
Ability to facilitate groups, conduct strategic planning sessions, and build consensus in a professional team using participatory methods. Strong analytical research, communication, and problem-solving skills related to research design and to collection, analysis and interpretation of evaluation data.
Programme Officer (Ecosystem and Health) :
Post-graduate education in Systems Ecology / Environmental Sciences with specialization in Watershed Ecology or Environmental Health. Knowledge of the concepts / techniques of Ecosystem Health.
A minimum of five years research experience after completing last university degree. Strong analytical abilities, communication, and problem solving skills related to research design and to collection, analysis and interpretation of data.
Sensitivity and demonstrated capacity to carry out gender integrative research.
Demonstrated ability to use participatory methods for research
Programme Officer (Gender in Development) :
Post Graduate qualifications in Social Science with emphasis on Women’s Studies and Gender issues in the context of gender-based community development in rural India. Five years of professional experience dealing with gender issues in development, gender sensitization training and gender based programme monitoring.
Ability to facilitate field teams and work closely with rural communities on gender issues most essential.
Selected candidates will work as team members in strong multidisciplinary teams involved in coordination of multi state development programmes and will have excellent professional growth opportunities.
The remunerations will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
