International Environmental and Social Justice Organization Seeks Dedicated Activist for Policy Director Position

The Bank Information Center (BIC) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides information and strategic support to NGOs and social movements throughout the world on the projects, policies and practices of the World Bank and other Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). BIC advocates for greater transparency, accountability and citizen participation at the MDBs, and promotes environmental sustainability and social justice in economic development decision-making.

BIC is currently searching for a Policy Director to develop and carrying out BIC’s advocacy efforts to promote environmental and social policy reforms at the MDBs.

The policy agenda is set by BIC staff and Board, in consultation with Advisors and Southern constituents, and is carried out in collaboration with BIC program staff, Washington based and international NGOs. The position is based in Washington, D.C.
