Environmental Health Program Coordinator 

(East Timor) 

The Oxfam program is based in four districts supported by a head office in Dili. The program is in a transitional phase seeking to strengthen the capacity of East Timorese organisations and groups to manage and implement community based environmental health projects; human rights; and women’s empowerment projects.

 Oxfam Australia is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Environmental Health Program that focuses on health promotion, water supply and sanitation.

 Key Requirements:

-         Experience of managing a complex program that is based over a number of district offices and in a transition from post conflict to development.

-         Experience in environmental or public health program management would be an advantage.

-         Fluent in written and spoken English and an ability to work in the Tetum or Bahasa Indonesian languages is highly desirable

-         Ability to live and work in a multi-disciplinary team

-         Overseas experience with a development agency

-         Proven capabilities in leadership, program management, communications and planning
