Director, ENABLE

CEDPA, a nonprofit international organization dedicated to empowering women, has an immediate need for a Washington, DC based Director, ENABLE.  Position is responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight for the ENABLE reproductive health project, currently implemented in India, Nepal, Cambodia, Nigeria and Ghana.  Incumbent must possess minimum MPH with focus on international health, reproductive health or other related experience. Minimum 8-10 years experience in design, implementation and management of community-based reproductive health programs, with a focus on building the capacity of NGOs.  At least six years experience in management of USAID-funded health programs.  Excellent technical skills in family planning/reproductive health program design, strategic planning, management, evaluation of reproductive health programs, behavior change, and women's empowerment programs.  Travel will be required.  Foreign language (French) preferred but not required.  Competitive salary and benefits.  Send resume and cover letter with salary requirements:  E-mail to jobs@cedpa.org or fax to 202-332-4496.  Must be eligible to work in the United States.
