SENIOR TECHNICAL ADVISOR FOR AGRICULTURE/ENVIRONMENT

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) seeks a headquarters-based Senior Technical Advisor (STA) to provide strategic leadership, coordination and technical support for agriculture/natural resource (ANR) programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The position requires comprehensive understanding of and significant experience in international agriculture, focusing on farming systems, sustainable agriculture, watershed approaches and participatory methods for small farm agriculture. Qualifications: MS required; PhD preferred. 7-10 years of progressive responsibility in international research and/or development programs.

Successful grant/proposal writing experience. Fluent English, advanced French and/or Spanish. Willingness to travel extensively (30%) & relocate to field in 3-5 years.
