REGIONAL TECHNICAL ADVISOR FOR HIV/AIDS
SOUTHERN AFRICA REGIONAL OFFICE
HARARE, ZIMBABWE

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) seeks a Regional Technical Advisor to provide technical assistance to the region and to country programs to expand CRS outreach in response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Within the SARO region, the top priority for the RTA for HIV/AIDS is to provide assistance to the South Africa HIV/AIDS Program Office, which is responsible for the countries of Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland. 

Qualifications: MPH; Minimum 5 years in the developing world in program management positions; Experience in HIV/AIDS programming at the field level; Experience with public grant proposal writing; Experience with formal and informal training; Solid knowledge of PLA, RRA and other participatory needs assessment methodologies; Experience in designing and implementing participatory planning and evaluation methods; Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%  of the time; Professional proficiency preferred in French or Portuguese.
