Durango Nature Studies

Durango Nature Studies is a rapidly growing nature education organization.

Duties: responsible for all aspect of internal management including personnel and financial administration; primary responsibility for fundraising, external networking, and marketing. This includes working closely with staff, board members, volunteers, and community partners.

Requirements: Relevant educational background; five years of experience in senior management, non-profit preferred; proven fund-raising and grant writing abilities; strong business administration and organization skills; ability to motivate, lead, set objectives, and manage performance of staff and volunteers; superb communication and presentation skills. Background in environmental education or with nature centers is desirable.
