Requires : Executive Director National Bee Board is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, formed as per the directive of the Horticulture Commissioner, Govt. of India, Ministry of Agriculture, with the participation of Processors, Beekeepers, Farmers and the Private Sector. Executive Director will be the Principal Executive Officer of the Board, reporting to the Chairman / Vice Chairman. He will be required to draw up ambitious plans to increase the production and availability of Honey in the country, by working closely with beekeepers, farmers, equipment suppliers etc. to scientifically increase the yield and also the number of beehives. He must be able to tap National and International sources for funds to carry out the above task. Ability deal with Public Sector / Government Departments will be necessary. Qualifications : Specialized post graduate degree in Entomology with practical experience in the field of bee-keeping and Honey production. Remuneration will not a limiting factor for the right candidate.
