Requires : General Manager Rashtriya Mahila Kosh has been set up by the Govt. of India, Deptt. of Women & Child Development as a registered society to provide and promote micro credit facilities for the female poor for income generation activities. RMK is presently working through more than 750 Intermediate Micro Credit Organisations in 20 States and has benefited more than 3.8 lakh women. Besides credit facilities, RMK is also engaged in promotional, developmental and capacity building activities to increase the outreach of credit facilities. RMK invites applications for the post of GENERAL MANAGER on short term contract basis. Qualifications, Age and other required particulars are as under : No of Posts : One Educational & Other Qualifications : 1. Post-graduate in the Social Science form a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. 2. Minimum 7 years experience in the social or economic sector, preferably in the management of micro credit programmes SHGs etc. Preference will be given to those candidates with a proven track record and high level of motivation towards work in the social sector. Person with a finance background preferred. Computer literacy will be an added qualification. Age Limit : Below 45 years. Contractual Fee : A fixed contractual amount, including HRA etc. in the range of Rs. 30,000 p.m. to be decided by RMK from time to time. Period of Probation : Six months for short term contract. In case of short term contract, after the probation period of 6 months is over, a normal contract will be for 3 years which can be extended for a further period of 3 years at a time with mutual consent. The contract will however be terminable at any time with 3 months notice from either side. ED reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received w/o assigning any reasons thereof. The decisions of the Board of Directors of RMKL regarding the above appointment shall be final.
