Moscow Regional Director

The Eurasia Foundation Moscow Regional Director serves as the Foundation's
representative, decision-maker, and spokesperson in the central Russia
region, with primary responsibility for planning and implementing a small
grants program in support of local institutions that promote private sector
development, local government reform and civil society development.
The Moscow Regional Director reports to the Regional Vice President for Russia
who is also based in Moscow. Responsibilities for this position include
oversight of the Foundation's Moscow regional office in the areas
of Grant Programs (with a multi-million dollar grant budget), Human Resources
and Administration, Accounting, Grants Management, Fundraising and Development.
Experience: Significant professional experience (at least
10 years) in a relevant field in the business, nonprofit, or government sectors.
Previous management-level field experience in the NIS is required, as is
native-level fluency in written and spoken English and a high level of
proficiency in Russian. Strong communication, management, and computer skills
are highly desirable. Educational attainment should be to the level
associated with the achievement of a master's degree, preferably in the area of
public policy, public administration, economics, for business management. U. S.
citizenship required.
