The Foundation for International Training is seeking an experienced Field Manager for a CIDA funded Child Rights Project based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities
will include:
·
Establishing, staffing, equipping and managing the project office in
Colombo
·
Recruiting and supervising staff and consultants
·
Overseeing project implementation
·
Developing effective working relationships with project partners
·
Facilitating and liaising with participating partners, donors,
organizations and institutions
The
successful candidate will possess: a university degree in a relevant field;
extensive project management experience; experience working in child-rights or
child-focused programs; participatory community development experience; an
ability to work effectively with a team and government agencies; strong
interpersonal, communication, negotiation and cross-cultural skills.
The
position is open only to Canadian citizens.
