committed to enhancing sustainable development through the transfer of
technologies to global experts and institutions and through the creation of
appropriate project designs. Areas of program concentration include child
survival, family planning, reproductive health, population policy, nutrition,
and prevention of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Since its founding in 1971, Futures has worked in over 50 developing countries for more than 600 clients, including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), UNICEF, Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING TO FILL THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
Senior Research Associate
Policy Project
The
POLICY Project works to create a supportive policy environment for family
planning and reproductive health programs. The project addresses the full range
of policies that support the expansion of family planning and other reproductive
health services.
The POLICY Project is seeking a Senior Research Associate to work in the
DC office of The Futures Group International.
Responsibilities include:
· Providing programmatic support to POLICY programs;
· Working closely with Country Implementation teams to assure that country
activities are carried out successfully;
· Assisting in preparing country reports and in managing, monitoring and
evaluating the programs;
· Developing and managing regional workshops;
· Providing technical assistance to country programs as required;
· Working on technical papers and policy analyses;
· Preparing and disseminating the outputs of country work; and
· Participating in technical activities and technical working groups.
Candidates will possess MPH/MPP or Masters in related field; 7 plus years
exp. in int'l FP/RH/AIDS issues; and proven ability to produce high quality
written documents.
