survival, family planning, reproductive health, population policy, nutrition,
and prevention of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Since its founding in 1971, Futures has worked in over 50 developing countries for more than 600 clients, including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), UNICEF, Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Population, Health, & Nutrition Info. Project (PHNI)
Senior Health & Nutrition Analyst
Responsibilities
include: analyzing data and trends in international Population, Health and
Nutrition (PHN) issues, applying PHN knowledge to advisory services, products,
and dissemination activities, assuring technical quality of project outputs,
developing/ enhancing informational tools by advising the information and
communications systems units on USAID’s H&N sectors and operating
policies. Must be capable of leading and justifying analytical, methodological,
and statistical program and information decisions to professionals in the field.
As Task Coordinator, responsible for coordinating sets of tasks associated with
functional, geographic, or funding areas and tasks requested of project.
Qualified individuals should have a minimum of 8 years experience in
international health, Masters or Ph.D. in relevant field, strong quantitative
and qualitative skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with USAID policies and programs, Spanish/French, and experience in
areas such as HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, and infectious diseases
desired.
Little if any travel required; some field TA possible.
