PROFILE:

Educational qualification:

Post graduate degree development/social science/related field. Preference to professionals for reputed institutions and universities.

Work Experience:

6-10 years of work experience in development sector in growing capacity from field level experience to international level experience ranging from project planning , monitoring, evaluation, reporting, capacity building and overall project management

Worked in international environment

Knowledge and understanding of LFA/Results-Based Management/accountability mechanisms in use by various funding agencies

Competencies and skills:

Capacity-building of project functionaries

Results reporting and monitoring

Results based or accountability mechanisms of development projects

Well versed in at least one of the development sectors mentioned below

Familiarity with :

Developmental concepts in the sectors: Basic Human Needs, Women in Development, Human Rights and Good Governance and Environment. Social development issues related to basic education, health & nutrition, HIV/AIDS, child protection and Gender equality.

Formal training received

Updated skills on various contemporary concepts in development by attending seminars, workshops and formal training courses.

Attitude: Positive, Can work in teams, Can work as consultant in a multi-department environment
