DESCRIPTION: MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS
The International Executive Service Corps (IESC) is a private, not-for-profit business development organization Further information about our organization is available at www.iesc.org that supports private and public enterprises in more than 50 developing countries.
Currently,
IESC is recruiting management consultants for upcoming projects that would
require up to four week assignments in Western Russia.
Volunteers will train the staff of business support institutions, such as
consulting firms, and help them acquire the expertise they need
to offer new services to their client small and medium enterprises (SMEs) . Required areas of expertise include:

Strategic planning, organizational management, financial planning skills,
marketing and market research techniques
·
Development of new
products and services to attract new members
·
International quality standards (ISO 9000, TQM, etc)
·
Development of an information network for SMEs.
·
Ability to help SMEs obtain financing
Requirements:
Volunteers selected for these projects
have a minimum of 8 years of senior management consulting experience.
He or she must be actively consulting or have retired within the past two
years. A proven record of
successful consulting assignments and extensive knowledge of association management is required.
Country
experience is a plus, but is not required for consideration.
The volunteer will be provided with per diem, international airfare and an allowance for housing and local transportation. Projects are scheduled for 2001 and 2002.
