Established in 1984 in the UK, Islamic Relief is an international NGO seeking to promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities - regardless of race, religion or gender - through relief and development activities. We have been active In Palestine since 1998. Currently, our activities are being implemented in both development and emergency fields.
We require an experienced and skilled Programme Manager for our Palestine office - based in the Gaza Strip. With at least five years experience of working for international NGOs, the successful applicant will have a proven record in designing, planning and implementing development and emergency programmes, as well as a competent skills and experience in monitoring and evaluation. Experience of networking with local and international agencies and fundraising from institutional sources is a must. Due to the current situation in Palestine, only applications from British or European Passport holders will be considered.
