Project Manager
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)
MAP works with partners in Palestine and countries hosting Palestinian refugees to improve the health of Palestinians and disadvantaged communities in their host countries. We are now looking for a PROJECT MANAGER (based in Ramallah, West Bank) for the DFID-funded Child Health Development Project in Palestine The project will work with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, UNRWA and local NGOs to improve access to and the quality of primary and first level referral health care for children in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of the project, candidates will have substantial experience of project management in an overseas development context. Essential skills include budget management and project financial monitoring, excellent organisational and coordination abilities, excellent communication skills and IT literacy, high level of interpersonal, negotiation skills and diplomacy. Initially for 18 months with possible extension for a further 3 years. Internationally competitive salary and package.
