Program Officer for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

Position based in Washington, DC

NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

 NDI seeks a program officer to manage NDI's democratic assistance project for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The DRC program officer will coordinate all programmatic, technical, administrative and financial components of the project.  The position is based in Washington, D.C. and will require periodic travel to the DRC. This position is available immediately.  Candidates will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

 In light of recent efforts in the DRC to revive the peace process and the Inter-Congolese Dialogue established by the Lusaka Accords, NDI is exploring programming options to support Congolese political and civic leaders with training and technical assistance to foster their participation in the democratic transition.
