Seek Kosovar native/citizen to develop and manage the mediation service of a new Center in Prishtina

Partners is an international organization committed to building sustainable local capacity to advance civil society and a culture of change and conflict management worldwide. Partners has established locally staffed and managed Centers in Argentina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the United States.

Duties include:

Recruit and develop a panel of mediators, with assistance/training from regional center staff (above), including site visits
Develop/implement a work plan, training programs and mediation service (including referral, intake and evaluation)
Conduct education and outreach programs to inform community and other sectors about mediation services
Facilitate the resolution of community, family, business, municipal, and environmental disputes
Pursue public policies that promote the use of mediation and other conflict management processes

Qualifications

Native/citizen of Kosova
University degree in psychology, sociology, law, management or other relevant field
Excellent spoken and written English skills
Experience in mediation, conflict resolution preferred
Commitment to diversity and peaceful coexistence
Valid passport
