PROJECT MANAGER, KENYA

 Save the Children, an international relief and development agency, seeks a Program Manager for the Nuba Mountains Health Care Program.  S/he provides management support to all project and staff located inside South Sudan (Nuba Mountains) and ensures efficient/timely implementation of the program and ensures compliance with all grant provisions.  Negotiates with counterparts and partner NGOs on project policies, regulations, scheduling and financial support and reviews status of project implementation.  Degree in development related studies or equivalent experience. 

Minimum 5 years' overseas project management experience, preferably in the public health sector.  Experience/working knowledge of community development programs and related monitoring systems, medical resource programming and management, and management of project finances.  Good organizational, communications and interpersonal skills essential.  Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. 

Must travel extensively to rural areas under diverse and sometimes difficult conditions.  We offer comprehensive benefits/competitive salaries.
