Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), a non-government public interest research institute, requires a Research Fellow for the Sustainable Agriculture and Biodiversity Programme.

The Research Fellow will be required to undertake original research on sustainable agriculture and biodiversity; formulate, manage and administer research projects; solicit funds for the programme; organise research conferences, workshops and like forums for dissemination of the research output; edit, compile and publish research papers and monographs; deliver training courses; give advice to the government, donors and private organizations; and represent the institute at national and international forums.

            A candidate for this position should posses a PhD in a related discipline, minimum 5 years post PhD experience in a similar position, willingness and ability to enhance the institute’s funding, excellent written and oral communication skills, and basic computer knowledge.
