National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD)


Rural Women's Development and empowerment Project (Swashakti Project) being implemented by Department of Women and Child Development in six states and aims at providing conducive environment for holistic development of women. national Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, has been identified, as the Lead Training Agency of the Project with a mandate to act as 'Training Manager' and provides material support required for the project.

NIPCCD is looking for consultants(s) in the following areas :

1. Consultant (Micro Enterprise)
Post Graduate in women's Studies / Social Work / area planning or in any other social sciences discipline with minimum three years field experience in micro-credit activities with women's group. The Training tasks would include conducting training need assessment, evolving a plan of action for entrepreneurship and business development training initiatives for NGOs and project implementers/prepare training module, coordinate with commissioned agencies in accomplishing the tasks assigned by LTA, assist the state WDCs to conduct entrepreneurship development training programme prepare manual handbooks etc.

2.Consultant (Micro Credit)
Post Graduate degree in women's studies/social work/area planning or in any other social science discipline with minimum three years field experience in mirco-credit activities with women's group. The tasks would include generating reports and documents on advocacy programmes / bring out manual / handbook/monitoring reports / enhance the skill of trainers in training of grass root women etc.

3.Consultant (Documentation)
M-Lib Degree from recognised university with three years experience in data base and trend analysis. The job profile would include establish linkages with various international / national organisations for collection of data / establishment of data base / liaisoning with other commissioned agencies in documentation, translation of material etc.

4. Consultant (Accounts)
Degree from recognized university in commerce. Three years experience of handling accounts work in government / autonomous body independently. Familiarity of government rules and regulations is essential. The job tasks would include preparation of annual budget and annual action plan / maintenance of accounts on computer / liaisoning with commissioned agencies in complying with the norms of the project etc..

Other Conditions As Follows :
(a)Maximum age limit 45 years.
(b)The posts are Delhi based and involve extensive touring within the country.
(c)These posts are for one year on contractual basis and on consolidated emoluments.
(d)Applicants presently working in government offices, public sector / autonomous organisations must apply through proper channel.
(e)Women Candidates are encouraged to apply.
(f)Attractive remuneration would be offered as per the existing order of the Department of Personnel and Training.
(g)Computer literacy is essential.
