British High Commission

The British High Commission is looking for two highly motivated individuals who possess excellent communications and organisational skills. Working both individually and as part of a small but high profile team they will provide logistical support to UK based officers arranging inward visits by Government Ministers and senior official visitors to India.

Staff recruited to fill these slots will use their interpersonal skills to the full in building effective relationship with Government of India departments, institutions, hotels and other organisations.

Responsibilities include :
Managing the support arrangements for each visit, including developing transport schedules for travel within India, and liaison with Ministries in Delhi. The job calls for meticulous attention to detail and the end product must be accurate, informative, comprehensive and clear.

Candidates must be presentable, articulate and possess the resourcefulness to tackle the challenges we will throw at them. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Windows based systems and Microsoft Office applications. Oral and written English is essential.

For these roles candidates will either need to be educated to at least a degree level together with two-years prove experience in the travel industry or similar service industry.

We offer on-the-job training together with a competitive salary in the range Rs. 12,310 - 23,078/- per month (Under review) and normal benefits package.
