Requires : Program Manager A US based organization implementing a global project in reproductive health funded by United States Agency for International Development invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of a Program Manager based in New Delhi. The position will manage an innovative community based project designed to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality in collaboration with local implementing NGO. S/he will provide inputs in project activities such as supervision, monitoring, evaluation and communications as well as technical assistance to the collaborating NGO in the area of Safe Motherhood and Child Survival, and liaise with partner agencies. Qualifications : Degree in medicine or health related degree with 7 years experience in program management of which at least 3 years should be in reproductive health involving primary health providers at the community level. Key abilities for the position are organization, attention to detail and diligence. Experience in rural outreach and working with lay providers will be an added advantage. The position requires high computer literacy, excellent oral and written English and Hindi and 40-60 percent travel within India. Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience, and in line with international organizations based in India. Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
