Project Title : Research on Masculinity and Violence Requires the following : 1. Project Co-ordinator (1 Post) Minimum Qualifications M.Phil or preferably Ph.D. in Sociology, anthropology or Social Work, minimum 3 years experience in conducting and coordinating field based research, publications in journals / books. (interview on Aug 30, 2000, by appointment; date of joining Aug 31, 2000). 2. Research Associate (3 Posts) Minimum Qualifications MA preferably M.Phil in Sociology, Anthropology, social Work or Economics, minimum 2 years experience in conducting field-based research. 3. Field Investigator (6 Posts) Minimum Qualifications MA in any Social Science, 2 years experience in conducting field survey at the household level. For positions 1,2 and 3 : Familiarity with issues of abuse / violence preferable, good working knowledge of computers: word processing, spread sheets and packages like SPSS / SAS. Trainer (1 Post) Minimum Qualifications A post graduate degree preferably in social science; min. 5 years experience in training in the development sector, preferably in the areas of HIV/AIDS, sexuality and gender; excellent report writing skills and good working knowledge of computers. Fluency in English and Hindi is a must for all the positions.
