Expert in Food Processing
for the Ivory Coast
Through the United Nations International Short-Term Advisory Resources (UNISTAR), senior management executives and professionals can offer their expertise as short-term volunteers to companies and industries in developing countries and emerging economies. The United Nations Volunteers programme is currently seeking candidates to support the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs in the area of food processing and product development. The project aims to build capacity and provide technical expertise to micro and small enterprises members of the Federation. The incumbent is expected to
Advise on product development
and adequate technologies in the fields of baking and confection; nuts
roasting; and food and beverage packaging
Participate as trainers
in a workshop on quality management, product development and business opportunities
Experience and Qualifications
Educational background in
food processing/technology
Minimum of 7 years experience
in the food industry with specialisation in baking and confection; nuts
roasting technology and food and beverage packaging
Fluent in French
Duty Station
Abidjan
Conditions of service
A 2-week mission. UNISTAR Volunteers provide their services free of charge. Airfares and living expenses are provided.
