Vision International has two challenging opportunities for experienced top
professionals to be regional Senior Relief Administrators as part of our Rapid
Response Team (RRT). We are looking
for people with proven senior leadership and management experience, to be based
in
(1)
Africa, (2) the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
The successful candidates will provide regional team leadership to enhance World Vision's emergency preparedness and response to crisis situations world-wide. These senior positions will be based in (1) Nairobi and (2) Vienna, and will require immediate deployment at outbreak of large scale emergencies within the two regions. Temporary relocation at the outbreak is expected for up to three to four months or until a full-time person can be hired for that specific country. In periods of non-crisis management, the RRT’s will be involved in disaster mitigation design, training and capacity building, facilitation and promotion of disaster mitigation models within the organisation.
