Jarek, Koj, and Serra listen to Thomestharustra's
story of the original battles between good and evil,
Oge K'Tion's, the last of the ancient D'Jinn race,
role is revealed.
Only
twice in the history of Tellos has this particular
D'Jinn battled the evil forces which wish to consume
the lands. But twice he was the victor. As the
legend tells, the second of the two battles, the
forces of evil waited, and when the time was right
they put a spell on Oge K'Tion. The forces of
dark had trapped the powerful Paladin in a time-lost
gem; "...Entombing it, the legend says..."
Tom tells the trio.
Tom
helped with the search of the gem, which no one
could find, and fear engulfed the search party,
that if evil had decided to rear it's ugly head
again that there would be no champion to defend
the lands. But prophecies told of the warrior's
return to battle once more. He would be free of
his edritch prison. "...Guided by the strength
and spirit of not one, but two brave, unlikely
heroes!" And as Tom finishes his tale of
the lost, and last D'Jinn, he tells our heroes
that he fears that the prophecies has come true;
that the forces of evil have returned to make
their attempt on eradicating Tellos once again.
Jarek is the last hope, as he is one half of "the
ones who will lead the champion of light and totally
annihilate the forces of darkness!"
