Clearly the UK BDA (now Diabetes UK) had been failing diabetics for many years but they have made some major turn around steps and affirmatively state that a great many diabetics (at least 20% of insulin users) cannot use the synthetic insulins. We are disenheartened that they have changed their name from British Diabetics Association to Diabetes UK. We hope that this does not reflect a BDA sell out to Diabusiness.
As you read the other world diabetes and diabetics references, you will see just how truly bad the US ADA is in terms of its actions. Its refusal to support the Gray Ribbon and the fact that none of what it steals from diabetics is ever spent on any form of Cure research is telling.
