The Angels

Although each of the Digidestined has their own Digimon, their true guardians are the two Angel Digimon, Angemon and Angewomon. There have been numerous times where, when all of the other Digimon, no matter how far they've evolved, fail, these two ultra-powerful beigns come to save the day. Their attacks have brought down three of the most powerful and devious Evil Digimon, and they've only evolved once.

Angemon is T.K.'s Digimon. Evolved from Patamon, he is very protective and loving of T.K., and sort of acts like the father T.K. never really had. Although in his Champion form, Angemon's attack, Hand of Fate, is very strong, and even caused harm to Myotismon when all of the Ultimate Digimon's attacks couldn't. It was Angemon who destroyed Devimon when he grew to an enormous size, and it was Angemon's Arrow of Hope that enabled Gabumon to Digivolve to Metalgarurumon. Of course, to be expected, this form takes a lot of energy out of Angemon, and once he battled for so long that he went back to his first form: the Digiegg!

Angewomon is Kari's friend and guardian Angel, and although it seems odd, is the Ultimate form of Gatomon. Because she is an Ultimate, she is slightly more powerful than Angemon. She isn't as protective of Kari as Angemon is to T.K., but when she knows her digi-partner is threatened she attacks without mercy. Angewomon first appeared in the episode "Wizardmon's Gift", where, after a long battle, she finally Digivolved using Kari's Crest of Light. She sapped Myotismon's energy with her Heaven's Charm, and then used it to power up her main attack, Celestial Arrow. The arrow destroyed Myotismon, until he came back in his Mega form.

MagnaAngemon was the last of the Digimon to go Ultimate, but his attack swallowed Piedmon whole--now that's power! Cool, calm, and collected, nothing shakes this Ultimate form of Angemon, and nothing strikes him down, either. Weilding the legendary sword Excalibur, his most devestating attack is the Gate of Destiny: a purple ring that forms into a golden hoop and traps the enemy inside before deleting them. Like the old Angemon, he still shows his obvious affection towards T.K., but seems to have a bit of an attitude and speaks very little. ____________________________________________________________________________
