t0120_large.JPG (103028 bytes) It's the 4 Red Alencers that I received from Mike Wells. These fish are just beautiful and I am completely thrilled with them.  The picture is of them in the quarantine tank after one day but they look like the were raised from fry in my home.

DISCUS TANK 1.jpg (307884 bytes) A fully planted tank with discus, a small school of tetras and some small catfish.
All in a 6' x 2' x 2' display tank.  It is a relatively new Setup by the
way, only about 5 weeks. I have an automated water changing system which I
can set to change whatever amount of water I want. I keep the temperature at
around 27c average, which I know is a compromise for both the discus and
plants, but they seem okay with it. I leave the lights on for 12.5 hours a
day. Because of the extra lighting power needed for the plants, this tends
to wind the temperature up and down by about .8 degree C over the course of
a day.

2 Fish 1 cull.jpg (72830 bytes) Here are some pics of my fish. the red spot greens are from Samson @ universal Discus the other discus were sold to me by Macs Discus as RSGs. I was thinking of trying to breed a few discus on a hobby level but even on a small scale I don't want to raise junk. All fish are close to a year old one RSG is over 5 inches long and all of Macs fish are over 5 inches I have a CD taped to the back of the tank for comparison.

susan1.JPG (178675 bytes) These are the pics of the fish.  You can see my blue is kinda dark.  The two pigeon bloods are always together and rarely fight.  I had them alone for quite some time before I put any others in the tank.  The golden reds are my new ones, my husband got a good pic, minus one of them.

The female is with less striation. Can't determine what breed it is.

Also goes for the spotted orange, didn't know exactly what breed.
