She only does this to keep non paying customers away. She is concerned with making money. She likes the party and has nothing against them. The demon just made contact with her though. He wanted to know what the party was up to. He has only done this once and might contact her again. He has a few things that would interest Lady Moon and would persuade her to join him. If the players feel like hitching up with the carnival, they will run into a ton of interesting people and adventures. The idea of the carnival is based on the one from RavenLoft.
