Dyne listens as well, though seems more interested in following Talorc, but doesn't. ********************************************************** Below Talor races down the stairs and rounds the corner into the hallway, humming loudy all the way. Standing with their backs to Talorc are two zombie giants. They look in much better shape then the one he faced in the upper level. They do not turn around, but very efectivly block him acess into the room. You can hear commands being givin in a loud rough voice, "...find the intruder and being him back here! INTACT! We need more for our army! GO NOW!" With that there are pounding foot steps and the zombies start to move. One slips to the side as the second turns hunching forwards to enter the hallway. It roars loudly sounding what you assume is to alert to the others. OOC: Thanks Sarothai :) But you know I can't LIVE without my computer! At the first sign of the spell, the two take off down the hall to avoid being burned. They will also sugest that others do the same...though the spell caster might have a serous problem about avoiding the fire... (OOC: Please note that they only do this if the spell is going to be cast. He has it appear directly in the back of the 2 zombies. Letta strings her bow and lets one fly at the 1st zombie at the foot of the stairs. The arrow hits, but seems to do little damage. Dyne happily stands before the stairs and prepares himself to hack some undead butt. Flames erupt from the hallway sending him back a few steps, but leaving him unhurt. There are screams of pain form who ever was in the hallway. There is now smoke starting to fill the room. The Ogre, the human male and the giants that where not hurt in the firey explosion start to move towards him and Lucas as if to make a brake for it. Lucas is very glad that he decided not to go to the other side of the room, but gets a little nervous with the advancing enemies... Lylas smiles at the surprise in the ogres face as they come face to face. Then he plunges his sword into the creature. The ogre, not be out done, returns the favor. There is a large explosion followed by flames blasting up from the stairs. There are screams of pain and rage from below. "GO VEX!!" Dyne yells from a safe distance away as he and the others came charging back. There is a smell of burning flesh and the giants on the stairs are now in the room. Looking a little worse for wear they attack Vexenroth and miss. There is also smoke starting to fill the room. OOC: Could I have Intelligence check? Talorc and Dyne run down the stairs to face the orgres and zombies below. The walls and stairs are scorched along with the pissed enemies. Both men attack the first ogre. Talorc's aim is way off. Dyne hits and falls the ogre. "Its all in the wrist," the large man smiles. Sarothai attacks the zombie and both arrows hit. Marcus also attacks the zombies and hits. Vexenroth takes a position behind the others preparing to help with weapons. Akeesha heads down the hall over the heads of all the enemies. In the large room she sees two new men (one is most defiantly fighter and the other...?...). The fighter is attacking one of the ogres. She turns to look for the mage when a large hand swoops upon her....(please send a Dex check) OOC:If you were on the list that I e-mailed out for the missing character/magic items, PLEASE get them to me. Dyne kills the ogre he was attacking and swings and misses a second one. Vexenroth makes his way through the hallway only taking -5hp from attack of opertunity and casts magic missal. The mage looks very hurt. Letta gets cought on the stairs as she was trying to make to the others, but attack the undead in her way. It still stands. The undead attack and miss. The Ogres attack and miss. The mage is pissed and attack with a spell of his own spell. There are now more then one image of the mage... That was the point of casting a quick spell. All actions start at the same time, if NPC's get to just delay everything until convient everytime that screws up strategy :) You're the DM you know whats going on and I don't, but that seems weird. Also -- you made it seem like there was plenty of room around the zombies that were clearly fighting others, and shouldnt even know I'm there. But thats ok... I will cast another magical missile, sending equal bolts to the different images(how ever many their are) so that the fake ones will be destroyed after taking damage. I know of this spell as I am a wizard myself.
