Likely the worst natural disaster in U.S. history, Hurricane Katrina has left a path of destruction across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and beyond. Thousands of people young and old are displaced without food, shelter, or electricity - and untold numbers were killed in the fierce storm. Of those who survived, many may not be able to return to their homes for weeks or months - and may not even have anything to return to at all.
