It might look like Donkey Kong, but the Beast would whoop that ape's ass. The Beast stole your girl, and is making his way up a skyscraper; you have to get her back. You do this by climbing up the building through open windows, but you need to watch out for those birds, bats, rats, and cats, not to mention the rocks that are being hurled at you. Your only hope is the hearts that your girl is tossing down, giving you a few moments of invincibility. With each section you pass, the game goes to a screen showing the building with a plane that flies overhead with a banner either encouraging you or taunting you. As you climb up the skyscraper, the width decreases, giving you less room to avoid the relentless onslaught of pain being served up for you. When you reach the top, you see the intermission screen with the Beast plummeting to the floor, and the plane flies by and picks you and your girl up. One of my favorite things to do with this game is to get to the top floor and jump off the edge. You see your poor dude fall, floor after floor, until you hit the ground with a nice thud. Beauty and the Beast, is a classic, and of course another quality Imagic product.
