Jim Carrey stars in this incredibly deranged comedy about a lunatic pet detective searching for the Miami Dolphin's lost bottle-nosed dolphin. Since the crime was so secretively and professionally done, Hercule Poiriot, Sherlock Holmes or James Bond probably can't figure this out; only the psycho ways of Ace Ventura can! If you're going to watch this film, make sure you're watching it solely because you love Jim Carrey's physical comedy; that is the entertainment. The movie itself has a shabby story with offensive material and terrible supporting actors. Dan Marino's in the cast! Followed by Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.
