The Great Muppet Caper

The Muppet gang returns for their second adventure in this bright, clever and well done film. Kermit the Frog travels to London to interview Lady Holiday, a famous fashionable clothes designer, only to mistake her for Miss Piggy, the receptionist. Miss Piggy, who thinks Kermit is one attractive frog, decides to go along with the act. While in London, Lady Holiday's suspicious brother, Nicky, played excellently by Charles Grodin, plans the theft of the "baseball diamond" from his sister. Unbeknownst to him, his evil plans were overheard by the incredibly sneaky, Gonzo the Great and the Muppet gang is out to stop him! A hilarious film done by the late puppet-master, Jim Henson. There are a lot of guest stars including Peter Falk, Peter Ustinov and John Cleese! It's slightly better than its wonderful predecessor, The Muppet Movie. Followed by The Muppets Take Manhattan done in 1984.
