My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Okay, I bought it. This fun film has a high entertainment factor and is an inoffensive comedy for the masses. It's like cotton candy; it has no value whatsoever, but it will give you a damn good sugar rush. An average looking Greek woman, Toula, whose family is fanatically proud of their origin, was once feared to never find a husband. That is until Ian stumbles into her life (or rather she stumbles). The only problem is that Ian isn't Greek! That proves a major problem to the family, but it all turns out okay at the end. Despite the flaws, I enjoyed it. Many dumb jokes are prevalent, but I did snicker at half of them. Oddly enough, this low budget picture is actually rising in the box office charts. Even more strange, the film was produced by Playtone Pictures - Tom Hank's company whose name came from film about a single that rose the charts. (Remember? It was the Playtone record company?) Anyway, I thought that was weird.
