Emergency Scene
When you come on the scene of an emergency
scene - most important - DO NOT PANIC.
-
Access the situation - send a flit or companion
for help asap
-
Look for possible dangers
-
What might some of these dangers be? Animals,
fire, smoke, fallen objects
-
If there are dangers present, leave the scene
immediately!
-
We can't help others if we ourselves are injured.
-
If there is no danger approach the victim
cautiously - a tunnel snake could be lurking near.
-
If the victim is conscious, ask what is wrong
and what happened.
-
If victim is unconscious - access their injuries.
-
Move and touch them as little as possible
to prevent injury until you are more certain of what is wrong.
-
Listen to hear if the victim is breathing,
check for their pulse.
