THE ESSENCE OF MAGNOLIAS©

May 9, 1999 The link above will take you to an exceptionally beautiful site created by a Mississipi Gulf Coast Artist.

Linda named this photograph Rain Drops.

After the Rain - water drops make the magnolia look fresh and delicious.

Almost perfect...you can see the texture on the petals. It is like velvet! The leaves are in the background.

The Magnolia is the state tree of Mississippi. It blooms from May - July, producing fragrant white blossoms from 10" to 16" in diameter. The leaves are glossy and dark green.
