I joined the Army in Sep 1983, went to Basic at Ft Jackson, SC (C/51), attended Jump School at Ft Benning, GA (42nd CO) in Feb 84, went through Rigger School at Ft Lee, VA from Mar-Jun 84.
I was stationed at the following duty stations:
612th QM Co, Ft Bragg, NC from 84-92
HHC, 35th Supply & Services Bn, Honshu (Sagami Depot), Japan from 92-97,
HHC, 3rd Infantry Division (in support of 1st Ranger Bn), Hunter Army Airfield, GA from 97-00,
A Co, 4th Bn 160th SOAR (A) Ft Campbell, KY from 00-01
HHC, 1st Bn 160th SOAR (A), Ft Campbell, KY from 01-present
As I mentioned before, I retired in Dec 2004 after 21 years and I am now working for DynCorp here at Ft Campbell KY supporting HHC 1st Bn 160th SOAR (A). I live in Clarksville, TN, have two grown daughters and one son. The guaranteed weekends now give me plenty of time to hunt and fish.
